Privacy Policy

Wildland Apparatus Engineer, Sp. (“we”, “us”, or “the developer”) operates Wildfire Engineers Calc. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.

Information the app uses

• Anonymous installation identifier. The app creates a random, installation-scoped identifier to connect subscription status and basic product-usage events to the installation. It is not your name, email address, Apple Account, Google Account, or advertising identifier.
• Account and purchase information. No app account is required for an in-app purchase or subscription restoration. We do not ask you to provide a username, name, or email address to purchase or restore access through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those stores may use an existing store account name, email address, payment information, purchase history, and other account information as needed for billing, tax, fraud prevention, receipts, renewals, cancellations, and subscription restoration. The app does not ask you to enter your Apple Account or Google Account credentials or payment-card information, and Wildland Apparatus Engineer, Sp. does not receive or store those store account credentials, names, email addresses, or full payment-card numbers. Wildland Apparatus Engineer, Sp. receives only the subscription status and entitlement information needed to provide purchased features. Your Apple or Google store account and billing relationship remain with the applicable store and do not create an account relationship with Wildland Apparatus Engineer, Sp. Apple and Google handle that store account and billing information under their own privacy policies.
• Location and map coordinates. If you use Map Planner and grant permission, the app can use your device location to center the map. Pins and route coordinates are sent to the elevation service when you request elevation data. Location permission is optional and is not required for the other calculators.
• Feedback. If you send feedback, we receive the message and any screenshot you choose to attach so we can respond and troubleshoot. Do not include sensitive personal information in feedback.
• Calculator inputs. Calculator values and saved map measurements are kept locally on your device for the app’s functionality. They are not sent to us unless a feature explicitly requires a request, such as map elevation lookup or feedback submission.

How information is used

We use the information above to provide calculator features, calculate map elevations, maintain subscription entitlements, respond to support requests, measure anonymous feature usage, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioral advertising. Apple and Google independently use any store account information required to process and manage in-app purchases; that store billing relationship is between you and the applicable store and is not a request for account information by Wildland Apparatus Engineer, Sp.

Service providers

We use service providers for subscription entitlement management, email delivery, application hosting, database storage, and map/elevation data. Apple and Google process in-app purchase billing directly through their stores. Service providers used by the app receive only the information needed to provide their services and must handle it under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Local calculator data can be removed by deleting the app or clearing its stored data. Account, purchase, and support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations. To request access or deletion of account or feedback information, email Hydro@wildfireengineer.com.

Children’s privacy

The app is a professional technical calculator and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
